DONE DEAL: Barcelona to wrap up a much required defensive reinforcement

It seems like everywhere you look this transfer market, FC Barcelona is there. From the Robert Lewandowski saga, to meddiling in the Di María transfer, to meeting with Jorge Mendes about one of his players, the Catalan club is here, there and everywhere.
Now, however, it seems like they may soon finally put ink to paper on one of the many moves that they were linked with all summer long. Chelsea FC made it official that Andreas Christensen will be leaving on a free deal, and it seems he already has a destiny.
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Christensen will be announced very soon as a new Barcelona player. The Danish centreback, who joined Chelsea in 2017 from German outfit Borussia Monchengladbach, is known for his calm and collected style, and is excellent and progressing the ball from behind, something that clearly fits the Barça style.
Although there are no numbers on the potential contract that Christensen will sign with Barcelona, it is expected that the announcement will come when the club have cleared some FFP inconvenients, so it may be some time until we see the Dane in a Blaugrana shirt.
