It seems that a strong January´s transfer window was not enough for Aston Villa. The arrivals of Emiliano Buendía, Leon Bailey, Lucas Digne and Danny Ings, investing a total of 128 million euros did not make The Lions better than expected, finishing the Premier League in the 14th spot with just 45 points, only ten above the relegation zone.
