They call him the "new Neymar" and Barça is already meeting his agents
The Catalan giants aren't stopping their transfer dealings and now they're working on a deal for the future
He's yet to debut with Palmeiras, but he's in everyone's lips: Endrick is the next great Brazilian talent and European clubs are already fighting for his signature. With many branding him the "next Neymar", Barcelona, the club who once signed the original, is after him and they have taken a massive step towards achieving their target.
With every top club in Europe are already keeping an eye on the 16-year-old Palmeiras wonderkid, Endrick's agents have flown to Barcelona from Sao Paulo to start working on a potential deal to bring him to the Catalan giants, according to Spanish newspaper Sport.
Although Endrick hasn't made his Palmeiras debut, he has made the bench, and he committed to the team this summer by signing his first professional contract, which is said to have a 32 million euros release clause. Barcelona want to sign Endrick in the upcoming summer transfer market, then when he turns 18 in the summer of 2024, he would then join the club.
Of course, the Blaugranas are far from the only team persuing the signature of the young prospect. While it was thought that their Clasico rival Real Madrid were set to be Barça's main opposition, it's looking now like it will be Paris Saint Germain after all, as the French outfit are looking to increase their presence in South America.
So far, Endrick has amazed with the Brazil Under 17 team, where he has scored in every game he has played, reaching five goals and one assist in four games for the young Seleçao, driving up the hype for his arrival at Barcelona.
