"I don't feel alluded": The dressing room BOMB that Xavi has to difuse
The Blaugrana manager needs to be quick to disarm a potential issue with one of his most veteran players
There is never quite a calm day at FC Barcelona. Having gone through the rumous of bankrupcy, the difficulties in the market and the drama over the registration of their new players, the Blaugranas are second in La Liga, having dropped just 2 points of the 12 made available to them so far, but there's still no rest for Xavi Hernández and his staff.

That's because Jordi Alba set the alarms off speaking about his failed departure to Inter Milan, and now Xavi has had to reply to try and settle the score with one of his most veteran players.
"I see myself qualified to be here for the remaining years of my contract, if it wouldn't be the first to leave, but then again the club looks at its own interests" had fired Alba, who later added "I am a man who likes to go face to face, I like to go face to face with everyone, not everyone likes it but I am like that. I can not say anything more".
With another matchday coming, it was inevitable that Xavi was asked about it, and the Blaugrana's head coach did his best to avoid controversy. "I understand Jordi, the statements are logical and I understand them. Everyone has the individual need and wants to express their opinion. It is normal", he answered, although he quickly dodged the subject, "I do not feel alluded to by his statements".

Truth is that it would a real dressing room bomb if Xavi was to lose the support of the "Barça old guard", many of whom were his teammates. With the club already moving rather remorselessly with legends like Dani Alves or Gerard Piqué, the Barcelona board and coach would do well to not stir the boat now the club is starting to get on his feet.
