The Polish striker started on fire at Barcelona and he's already being compared to one of the best
It's fair to say that Robert Lewandowski had an excellent start to life at FC Barcelona. The Polish striker has already scored eight goals in five matches with the Blaugranas, showing it wasn't just Bayern Munich's power that lead to his numbers in the Bundesliga. Among those in awe with the Pole's performances at the Camp Nou is Eric Garcia, who's enjoying having LewanGoalski as his teammate.

"I was surprised by how much he talks on the pitch, how he helps his teammates and how he tells you what will happen before it happens", explained Garcia about the experience of playing with the former Bayern man, in an interview with Catalunyan radio Rac1.
Now that he's flying high, Garcia reminded everyone of the first couple of matches of the Polish striker with the Blaugranas and the doubts that crept in: "At first, in preseason, when he had gone two games without scoring, it seemed that he was worthless and there were people who questioned who we had signed. Then the following games arrived and nobody remembers that one anymore. In the end, he is a spectacular striker."
"He has a knack for scoring goals... and then look at the pass he made to Pedri with a heel. I didn't see that option from the bench and he saw it", commented Garcia, who was quick to draw a comparison with another of Barcelona's best forwards, "He's one of those different players. Because of the effectiveness he has, you can compare him to Luis Suárez; any ball he touches is a ball that goes in".

After Barcelona's 5-1 thrashing of Viktoria Plzen, which earned Robert Lewandowski's first hat-trick with his new team, the Blaugranas are set to meet with the Pole's former team, Bayern Munich. "It will be an even match", thinks Eric Garcia, "We both want the ball, press high, the details will determine the match. We have to come out with our personality, but anything can happen".
