One of the best players of the last two decades wants to become a manager in his country
One of the most important Argentine players of the last two decades is looking to take his first steps as a manager. Argentine club Rosario Central is looking for a new head coach and on the past days the board has met with Argentine super agent Christian Bragarnik, who represents former Marseille striker Darío Benedetto and Ajax's Lisandro Martínez among many others. During the meeting, a name came up that would be an absolute bombshell: Carlos Tevez.
Although the well-known agent met to talk about the future of several footballers he offered Rosario Central the possibility of Tevez taking over the team. After taht, the club's vice president, Ricardo Carloni, met with Tevez and his representative, Adrián Roucco, to talk about the project.
As reported by Argentine media network TyC Sports, the Boca legend is expected to reply to the offer in the coming days, so negotiations can move on.
A few days ago, Tevez officially announced his intention to dedicate himself to coaching and will team up with Carlos Retegui, former hockey coach and multi-champion with both the Argentine men's and women's national teams. In addition, his brothers will be part in the coaching staff.
Carlos Tevez went on a European tour to learn how big European clubs work, visting many of his former clubs like Manchester City, Juventus, and West Ham. He's also been working weekly with sports psychologists and coaches to improve his skills at his new trade.
