Messi and Neymar got a FUNNY request from their next rivals
The South American players will face them with PSG in the Champions League, and they had a funny request for the stars
The draw for the Champions League left several interesting groups, including H, which will be made up of Paris Saint Germain, Juventus, Benfica and Maccabi Haifa. At first glance, the Israeli giant is the weakest team in the group iand will have a very hard task to qualify for the next phase of the competition, but far from pouting and lamenting the group that they got into, their players are happy and even encouraged to make a big request to Lionel Messi and Neymar Junior, two of the great stars that the Parisian side has on their squad.
Surely Maccabi Haifa could have been drawn into a much more accessible group with the clear aspiration to continue advancing in the Champions League, but the Israeli team did not take it badly and showed great enthusiasm for facing three European giants. Despite the happiness that was reflected throughout the squad, two footballers decided to go further and seconds after hearing the news they made a big request to two PSG stars.
Omer Aztilli, a 29-year-old midfielder, posted a picture on his official Instagram account with an eye-catching request to Lionel Messi and Neymar. The footballer took a photo with a teammate, tagged both PSG footballers and asked for their shirts: "T-shirt for us please".
What was requested by the players of the Israeli club quickly went viral due to the speed they had to do it. Although asking for the shirt on the pitch is a common occurrence in professional football, doing it a month in advance and through social media seems a bit rushed and makes clear Maccabi's anxiety about facing PSG.
