Out of favour with his coach and struggling for minutes, the Blues could be selling the Moroccan international very soon
Every footballer has a dream move, a club they always hoped or dreamed to play for. However, sometimes it is the case that such moves end up not working. It seems like that will be the case for Moroccan star Hakim Ziyech.
Hakim Ziyech was part of the Chelsea team that won the UEFA Champions League in 2021 under Thomas Tuchel, but he has struggled to earn his place
The former Heerenveen, Twente and Ajax player arrived at England less than two years ago, in July 2020, after his move was agreed upon on February of that year. However, a few injuries and some underperformances have limited the game time he has enjoyed with the Blues since then. Now it seems Chelsea are open to let him go.
As it has been reported by journalist Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea are now allegedly willing to consider letting the Morocco international should a "an important proposal" arrive for him. With German manager Thomas Tuchel recently admiting that the role which suits best Ziyech does not exist in his system, it seems only logical that they seek to move the player on and focus on other potential targets.
