It's been less than a year since the Gabon international left Arsenal under controversial circumstances to join Barcelona last January, but the former Borussia Dortmund man could be reunited with Thomas Tuchel at Chelsea very soon.

The Blues are in big need of a new striker following the departures of Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner, and they have their eyes set on Aubameyang. With the 33 year old keen on the move and Barcelona eager to sell so they clear more wage space to register their remaining signings, it's a match done in heaven should they reach a compromise.
So far, Barcelona were asking for 30 million euros to let Aubameyang leave, while the West London side was offering closer to 15 million. However, in the last hours it seems like they could have found a deal that suits them both. This is because the Catalan giants have also been looking to sign a left back, with Chelsea's Marcos Alonso their main target.
Now, reports are suggesting that the Blues have submited an official bid for Aubameyang, worth 15 million euros plus the transfer of Marcos Alonso. While there's no official reply from Barcelona, it could work to bridge the gap in valuation between the clubs and serve to finalise the deal.
Should this happen, the deal could get done at blistering pace, as according to English media reports, there is already an agreement between the Stamford Bridge side and Aubameyang for a three-year contract and with a 4 million euros salary, double what he earns at Barcelona. This is a signing that Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has been pushing a long time.
