Chelsea's TARGET for January: the player at the top of Graham Potter's list
The Englishman is working to make the Blues his side after taking over from Tuchel and he already has a name in mind
Graham Potter already has his transfer targets for Chelsea's January window. It's been less than a week since the English manager replaced Thomas Tuchel as the manager of the Blues, but the former Brighton man already has some ideas for the players he wants.
In fact, it seems that top of his list could be none other than current Brighton and Hove Albion man Moises Caicedo. The Ecuador international recently admitted that it would be dream move for him, and now that his former boss is at Stamford Bridge, the move is gaining momentum.
Chelsea were reportedly already interested in him, and with Potter arriving at Stamford Bridge, that interest is only bound to grow. Much in the same way, it seems that Moises Caicedo would be thrilled with the move: "I think they are one of the best teams in the world and nobody would turn down an offer from Chelsea", said the player speaking with Argentinian newspaper Olé recently.
Moises Caicedo joined Brighton from youth side Independiente del Valle in 2021, and spent a half a season on loan at Belgium side Beerschot before making his Premier League debut last season. The young Ecuadorian is known for his strength in the air, his reading of the game and his strong tackling, but is no weak link with the ball at his feet either. The 20 year old midfielder made 16 appearances for the Seagulls under Graham Potter, scoring two and assisting two.
