Ronaldo's WORST moment: "He is the most arrogant man I have ever talked to"
The Portuguese star is once again under the spotlight after a personal conversation was revealed
The terror movie that Cristiano Ronaldo is going through seems to have no end. With few minutes on the field of play, he only appears on the front pages of the newspapers due to his possible departure from Manchester United or due to getting embroiled in some controversy. During last season, CR7 broke the cell phone of a boy with autism and was despised by the public, but things have not ended there. Ronaldo contacted the child's mother to apologize, but far from fixing things, he made everything worse.
Manchester United's last season went down in history as one of the club's worst. The Red Devils failed to win any trophies and were down in sixth place in the Premier League, which denied them a ticket to the next Champions League. The bad footballing moment that the team was going through was reflected in the mood of its players and Cristiano Ronaldo wasn't the exception.
In one of the many games in which United failed to win, Ronaldo unleashed all his anger and showed his worst side more secuence that is hard to forget. After a defeat against Everton, the Red Devils were walking towards the Goodison Park tunnel to go to the locker room, when Ronaldo lost his calm and hit a little boy who was filming the exit of his heroes. The unfortunate fact went viral and received thousands of complaints against the Portuguese on social media.
Cristiano Ronaldo received the punishment of justice for his mistake, but this did not satisfied the boy's mother, Sarah Kelly, who after several months went out to uncover a talk she had with the footballer and that again leaves him in a bad position.
Kelly revealed that a man named "Sergio", who claimed to be Ronaldo's personal agent, called her the day after the incident, offering her the chance to meet the Portuguese star: "I told him: 'The answer is no'. I hung up and was shaking and crying. I felt intimidated. How dare they?"The woman began in telling her version of the conversation to UK newspaper The Mirror.
Continuing with her story, Kelly commented that a few days later it was the footballer himself who called her: "The phone rang again and a man said: 'Hello, I'm Cristiano Ronaldo', he told me that if I wanted to meet his family and he continued, 'I'm not a bad father,' to which I replied, 'I never said you were a bad father'".
Minutes later, Kelly explained the moment in which Ronaldo made her completely furious: "He never referred to Jacob by name either, he was always 'the boy'. 'I know the boy has problems,' he told me. And I replied: 'He has no problem, he has a disability, you are the one with the problem'".
