Ronaldo is back in training, but he has just one message "Set me FREE"
The Portuguese star has started working out with the Red Devils, but he's still set on a move away
Let me go. That was Cristiano Ronaldo's message to Erik ten Hag and the rest of the Manchester United higher ups in the recent meeting that the Portuguese star had with the club authorities. While many top clubs in Europe have rejected the chance to sign him, the Portuguese star insists on pushing for a move to a Champions League side.
Cristiano Ronaldo insists on pushing for a move to a Champions League side. Together with his agent Jorge Mendes, the former Real Madrid and Juventus man has insisted that he wants to leave. Manchester United has responded that they don't want to sell him, as not only they haven't changed their position, but they've also havent't had any inquiries.
Still, the 37-year-old's desire to depart has not changed despite talks. However, this would go against Manchester United's wishes, who are intending not only on keeping Cristiano Ronaldo for this coming season, but actually exercising the clause in his contract that would grant them another season. According to some reports, Jorge Mendes favours this option, as the agent thinks the Red Devils could be convinced of loaning out their star man if they have him on the squad for the following season.
