BLOOD, SWEAT AND TEARS: Rode patched up at Europa League final after cut
The German suffered a big cut during the match and had to be patched up to continue playing the final
European finals are never a simple affair. Players and team go out to find glory, make history and in the case of the Europa League, also get a spot for next year's Champions League.
Rode and Lundstram
With so much on the line, it's not surprising that some times the game get's tough. Such was the case for Eintracht Frankfurt's Sebastian Rode who had to be patched up following a close encounter with Lundstram's boot.
Rode was left on the floor, bleeding quite a bit
Luckily, it was nothing more than a cut and the German team's captain was quickly back on the pitch. Should his team beat Rangers in the final, it'll be a scar he'll treasure for years to come.
