Rival teams that have their stadiums very close
In the world of football, there are many rivalries between some clubs. This enmity can be due to various factors such as history, location of each club, or external factors unrelated to football. For example, El Clásico between Real Madrid and Barcelona is the best known as both are the most successful clubs in Spain. Another case is the "Superclásico" between Boca and River, the largest in Argentina. There is also a derby in which teams from the same city face each other, such as the intercontinental derby between Galatasaray-Fenerbahçe.
But if something characterizes these teams, it is that they live apart from each other. The Santiago Bernabéu is 600 km from the Camp Nou, the River and Boca stadiums are 16 km away and the Turkish classic is only 18 km apart. However, there are some examples of rival clubs living literally a few meters apart.
1) Independiente and Club Racing - Argentina
The Libertadores de América and Presidente Perón stadiums are only 300 meters apart. Both scenarios are located in the city of Avellaneda, in the Argentine capital. Independiente and Racing not only share a neighborhood but also compete for their impressive history on a national and continental level. Their rivalry is known as the Clasico de Avellaneda. It is the second most important classic in Argentina, attracting great attention abroad and having been considered by the prestigious World Soccer magazine as one of the most important in the world.

2) Liverpool and Everton - England
With 900 meters of separation, Anfield and Goodison Park, are the scenes of two historical of England, Liverpool and Everton. These two teams have been in existence for more than a century and have played hundreds of games between them, in what is known as the Merseyside Derby. Currently, it is the derby that has been played in the highest category of English football for the longest without interruption, being played from the 1962-63 season to date.

Nottingham Forest and Notts County FC have stadiums nearby, just half a mile away. These are The City Ground and Meadow Lane. Although there is a fierce rivalry between the two fans, the clubs currently play in very different categories. Nottingham Forest was promoted to the Premier League a few days ago, while Notts County plays in the National League, the fifth tier of English football. The last official Nottingham derby match was in 2011 when The Reds beat them on penalties in the EFL Cup.
