Erling Haaland has had a flying start to life in the Premier League. Questioned by many due to his showing his performances in what some called a "farmers league" like the Bundesliga, the Norwegian has shown that was just how bad he made the German defenders look, and now Premier League defences are suffering him. So much so, in fact, that a number of English top tier records could be withing grasp of the Manchester City striker.

Most Goals in a Premier League Season
Depending on how you see it, there are either one or two goals at reach here for Haaland. The overall most Premier League goals in a season is in the hands of Andy Cole, who scored 34 goals for Newcastle United during the 1993/94 season. However, that was during a 42-game season, when the league had 22 clubs; since then the record for a 38 games season was established in 2017-18 as Mohamed Salah scored 32 goals for Liverpool. With 14 goals in 8 games right now for Haaland, its safe to say that either record looks very much within grasp for the Norwegian.
Most Goals in a Premier League Debut Season
It may be hard to believe, but this is obviously Erling Haaland's first season in the English top tier. The Norwegian is lighting the league on fire, just like Kevin Phillips did during his first season in the top flight with newly promoted Sunderland in 1999-00. The current South Shields manager would finish the season with 30 goals, enough to beat the likes of Alan Shearer, Dwight Yorke and Thierry Henry to the Golden Boot. Having amassed almost half of Phillips's tally just 8 games in, it stands to reason Haaland could beat the record by some distance.
Most Premier League Goals in a Month
Allow me to take you back to December 2013. Arsenal are on their way to finishing the season as winter champions with Aaron Ramsey and Mesut Ozil leading their team, Manchester United are suffering the first collapse after Sir Alex Ferguson's departure, and some Uruguayan by the name of Luis Suárez is lighting up the league for Liverpool with 10 goals that month. Matter of fact, Haaland has already come awfully close to breaking this one, as he had 9 goals in August. With fixtures coming up thick and fast in October and the Norwegian already on 3 for the month, don't blink or you'll miss it.
Most Premier League Goals in a Single Game
A record currently shared by five people, Erling Haaland would join some very illustrious company if the were to score five goals in a single game, adding to the efforts Andrew Cole, Alan Shearer, Jermain Defoe, Dimitar Berbatov and former Sky Blue Sergio Aguero. Score one more and he beats every single one of them. Bonus points if he does it in a single half, which would beat Defoe's efforts on 22 November 2009, during a game between Tottenham Hotspur and Wigan Athletic.
Most Premier League Games with at least a Single Goal during a Season
The proof of any great goalscorer is not to pile on four or five against weak opponents, but to do it week in, week out, against any kind of rival. The current record is in the hands of Mohamed Salah, who scored in 24 of Liverpool's games during 2017-18. Haaland has so far scored in seven of his eight Premier League games for City, so... again, good progress on that one.
Most Hat-Tricks in a Premier League season
Considering that Erling Haaland absolutely shattered the record for least appearances to reach three hat tricks in a Premier League season taking it from Michael Owen's 48 to just 8, this one should fall pretty quickly too. Regardless, until that happens the record is still in Alan Shearer's hands, as he scored 5 hat tricks during the 1995-96 season with Blackburn Rovers.
Most Consecutive Premier League Games scoring a Goal
Ok, this one is contentious, but hear me out. The current record, as we all know, is in the hands of Jamie Vardy, who broke Ruud van Nistelrooy's record of 10 games, getting to 11 consecutive games scored on in iconic fashion, only adding to the mystique of that Leicester City title-winning 2015-16 season.

But... Haaland is already on 6 games. Had he scored against Bournemouth early in the season, he'd be on 8...from 8 appearances. Are you sure, absolutely sure, that there's no way he scores at least one goal in his next six Premier League games? It just goes to show how other-worldly Erling Haaland performances have been so far.
