DONE DEAL? Alexis Sánchez set to leave Inter as he has a new club
The Chilean has been on outside of Simone Inzaghi's team, but he won't be a benchwarmer for long
"We have six strikers on the squad, including Andrea Pinamonti, who had a great season, plus Alexis", Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi said a few days ago. For his part, Giuseppe Marotta, CEO of Inter Milan, added some other words about Alexis' future: "Sánchez has a contract, it's not that we can fire him. Just as it's legitimate that we try to build a more competitive lineup, it's also legitimate that he chooses to accept the best offer or stay. However, now the end is closer".
It was a bittersweet story for Alexis Sánchez at Inter Milan
The Chilean is now set to leave Inter Milan, as he has reached and agreement with Olympique Marseille. The French club will play the Champions League and will try stand up to Paris Saint Germain, so they were looking for a top tier star; that is why they went for Alexis Sánchez.
The 33-year-old striker is reportedly going to sign a two-year contract, with wages of 3 million euros per year. In the next few days, Sánchez will be traveling to France for the corresponding medical check-up and the signing of the contract.
For Sánchez it will be his sixth club in European football after playing for Udinese, FC Barcelona, Arsenal, Manchester United and Inter Milan. It will also be his first experience in French football, playing in four of the five best leagues on the continent.

If they let me play, instead, I'm a monster", Alexis Sánchez had assured some time ago. Now he's set to arrive at Olympique Marseille, were he'll be the absolute star of the team.
