According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Nerazzurri have everything ready to announce the signing of Armenian star Henrikh Mkhitaryan. The (apparently) soon-to-be ex Roma man rejected the offer the Giallorossi made him to extend his stay at the Stadio Olimpico, and will soon move to Inter.
Mkhitaryan, who will allegedly sign a two year deal with Inter, wanted a return to Champions League football, something Roma could not offer, finishing in a Europe League spot last season. The former Shakhtar Donetsk and Borussia Dortmund man arrived at Roma on a free deal from Arsenal, after spending previously a season on loan with the Giallorossi. He played 117 matches for the club, scoring 29 goals and providing 28 assists as he became an important man for José Mourinho's side.
