LAST ONE: Puma drop their latest Italy kit
It will be worn for the last remaining commitments in 2022
It became official a few months back that Italy will be leaving Puma as a kit provider after 22 years, starting in 2023. However, that leaves another 6 months for one last kit from the German company for their departing customers.
The last Puma kit for Italy after over 20 years
In a video presentation starring Giorgio Chiellini, Sandro Tonali, Jorginho and Gianluca Scamacca among others, Puma presented their latest work for the Italian National Team.
It's a relatively flat design, with a quarters split in different shades of blue and a round neck with the colours of Italy. The four boxes are allegedly a tribute to the four World Cup titles won by Italy, in 1934, 1938, 1982 and 2006 respectively.

While Italy won't be taking their last Puma kit to Qatar 2022, they will have the chance to wear it during the 2022 Finalissima, also known as the CONMEBOL-UEFA Cup of Champions, where they'll face Copa America champions Argentina. They will also wear it for their matches in the UEFA Nations League, where they take part of group 3, with England, Germany and Hungary.
Fans reactions have been mixed, with many critizing it, saying it looks like a jockey's shirt, while a few remained loyal. Love it or hate it, it's place in history is guaranteed as the last Italy kit before the move to Adidas happens in 2023.
