After finishing his contract with the Hammers, Lingard returned to United to play his last card and tried to convince the Old Trafford club to extend his contract. However, he had another irregular season, with few minutes in the first team, and the club decided not to renew his contract, which ended last June.
Despite that, a footballer with the skill of Lingard deserves a new opportunity in football and has several suitors who are willing to give it to him. The truth is that Jesse Lingard urgently needs and wants minutes. With the forward seeking to return to the England National Team at the World Cup in Qatar, he needs regularity so that Gareth Southgate lays eyes on him figure, something he would find in MLS.
