"It's a special moment": The latest Juve signing who dreamed of them
The Bianconeri added the striker they needed, and he couldn't be happier to have signed for Juve
Despite their slide from the summit of European football, and even after relinquishing the crown of Italian football, Juventus remain a dream club for many of the modern day stars, and one such star is Arkadiusz Milik. The Polish striker has just sealed his move La Vecchia Signora, and he couldn't be happier.
"It is a special moment in my life, it has always been my goal to play in one of the biggest clubs in the world. Now I want to give something special, I want to play, do well, score many goals and be happy", said the Polish striker upon being introduced as a new player for the Bianconeri.
From his days at Ajax, the 28 year old drew comparisons with countryman Robert Lewandowski, and it was precisely the new Barcelona man he mentioned when he was asked about his potential clashing with Juve star Dušan Vlahovi: "I know I can also play with the two strikers because I often did it with Lewandowski in the national team, in the meantime I just worry about doing everything to show myself in training and feel good, then the mister where and how to let me play".
Arkadiusz Milik, who scored 20 goals in 37 matches across all competitions with Olympique de Marseille last season, explained his decision to move from the French team after a successful season. "At the end of the championship I wanted to stay in Marseille, there was a good project", pointed out the Polish striker, "Then things changed, a new coach arrived and 7-8 new players, the opportunity presented itself to me to play in a great team and I jumped. We have known each other for a long time with Szczesny, we are teammates, here at Juve there is a good atmosphere, the infrastructure here is incredible, you don't have to think about anything, just play football".
