RETURNS TO ITALY: Pogba closer to Juventus by the minute
The World-Cup-winning midfielder has a complete agreement with the Italian club and his return should be imminent.
Paul Pogba's return to Juventus could be a matter of days. In a very cryptic tweet, journalist Alfredo Pedulla suggested yesterday that the deal could be almost done to bring back the French star back to the club where he first broke out as a top player.
He later clarified that negotiations are at point of "when" and not "if". There is still paperwork to be done, but the agreement with the player is apparently total. There are also rumours that Juventus will also be looking to sign another midfielder, part of the revamping plan to bring them once again to the forefront of Italian and European football.
It had recently come to be known that PSG had joined the race to sign Pogba. It was in that context that the French midfielder and Juve CEO Maurizio Arrivabene had a meeting that cooled things down and made it almost certain Pogba will be a Bianconeri for next season.
