Juventus eyeing BIG MOVE for one of Liverpool's top players
The Bianconeri aren't done with Pogba and Di María and they want this Premier League star
The addition of Paul Pogba and Angel Di María on free deals mean that Juventus is having one of the best markets in Serie A. The signing of Bremer to replace Matthjis de Ligt was another great bit of business by Bianconeri, but they're showing no signs of slowing down, and now they're going for one of Liverpool's biggest names: Roberto Firmino.
According to reports, Juventus is getting ready to increase its 23 million euro bid for the Liverpool star. The Anfield club was apparently reluctant to sell Firmino when Juventus made their original offer, but it is now thought that the side led by Massimiliano Allegri are prepared to up their proposal.
Firmino has taken a bit of a backseat role in recent seasons. When compared to the 2020-21 season, the Brazilian has made 16 fewer appearances in the Premier League last season, with the additions of Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz taking a bigger role. Now, Firmino has entered the final year of his contract with the Reds.
According to Tutto Juve, Juventus is prepared to increase its offer in the coming days in an effort to entice the forward to Serie A with the promise of more first team action. However, it may all be for nothing as Firmino has stated recently that he's not looking to leave Anfield.
"I'm very happy here. I'm grateful to God that I'm here playing for a great club with great players, winning titles. And my will is to stay", Roberto Firmino said in an interview back in May. "My wish is to stay here. I want to be here. I'm happy here. So that's all I can say, I want to stay".
