The 35-year-old goalkeeper appears not to be part of the plans for the Parisian club's coaching staff's, and as a result, he is already seeking for a move to join other teams. His destiny at the time seems to be in Italy's Serie A. According to the newspaper Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport, Napoli is the club vying for the services of the PSG goalkeeper. However, there is a problem to solve, and that is the salary disagreement that would prevent the deal to be done almost immediately.
Navas has high expectations, as he is one of PSG's highest earners, but Napoli's financial might is inferior to that of the Parisian club. The Costa Rican is reportedly demanding 7 million euros, plus the two millions for Champions League performance-related bonuses, and that's what prevents the former Real Madrid man from having already signed the contract.
According to Aurelio De Laurentiis, president of Napoli, it was "love at first sight" with Navas, but that financial constraints hinder club and player from reaching an agreement.

Should the deal for Keylor Navas fall through, the Azzurri are eyeing another possibility, Kepa Arrizabalaga. According to the Corriere dello Sport, De Laurentiis is thinking about the present Chelsea goalie. The Spaniard's wages are significantly lower, and it could prove easier to cover for Napoli.
