The TOTAL FORTUNE Manchester United offers to sign Casemiro
The Red Devils need urgent help in the midfield, and they're not joking around with their offer for the Brazilian
Manchester United need help and they need it now... but that has a cost, and the cost could be 80 million euros. The Red Devils are in desperate search of help in midfield, after the duo of Fred and Scott McTominay proved incapable of providing the services that manager Erik ten Hag. With Frenkie de Jong out of the question and Adrien Rabiot pricing himself out of the deal, Manchester United are left with just one option: Casemiro.
The Real Madrid man is a key part of Carlo Ancelotti, and having just won the Champions League with los Blancos, it'll take a fair bit of convincing to take him to Manchester. However, it will also take a lot of convincing to make Real Madrid agree to the deal. The Merengue club see the Brazilian as a key part of their squad for seasons to come, and would ask 80 million euros to make the move happen, according to journalist Sergio Santos from Relevo.
However, it's not all bad news. Although Casemiro has a contract with Real Madrid through 2025, he is rumoured to be dissatisfied with some of los Blancos' recent decisions. The Brazilian has reportedly been contacted by a lot of teams lately, although all from less enticing clubs than the Red Devils.
Despite Manchester United offering to double his current wages, Casemiro won't leave Real Madrid unless both the team and the player are persuaded that doing so is in their best interests. There is significant economic factors at stake, therefore the Brazilian sees the importance to consider his options before making a choice.
A compromise will indeed be necessary, as Real Madrid locked Casemiro little over a year ago when he extended and renewed his contract until 2025, adding a release clause of 1000 million euros.
