WATCH OUT! He joined a new club and his presentation was a nightmare
He was posing for the announcement of his signing and got the scared of a lifetime
Kostas Manolas had a very hard time while he was being introduced as a Sharjah FC player. The Greek defender is joining the UAE team from Olympiakos, but the former Napoli and Roma player got the scare of a lifetime during his presentation for his new side.
Manolas is joining a new side and he must already be familiar with going through the routine of posing for photos and videos as part of the promotional media to hype up his announcement. However, what he must not be accustomed to is posing next to a wild animal, as he was asked to do this time.
At the photo shootout for his new side, Manolas was posing with lyon, when the creature, who surely was tamed but remains one of the biggest predators in nature, roared next to the Greek defender. Understandingly, Manolas jumped off his knees, upset by the situation, all of which was captured by somebody recording the backstage of the photo production.
Perhaps not as unsettling but equally ackward for the former Greek international will be his meeting with one of his new teammates, Paco Alcacer. That's because the Spaniard was part of the Barcelona team that suffered Manolas' iconic winner for Roma in the 2018 Champions League.
Kostas Manolas, now 31 years old, will be leaving Olympiakos on a free and joining Sharjah FC in the UAE with a contract until 2024. Playing for Roma and Napoli, he accrued 214 Serie A appearances between 2014 and 2022, as well as 42 caps for the Greek National Team.
