Mbappé wants to leave and he DESTROYED him: "Total lack of respect"
The French striker is in the eye of the storm and this former World Cup winner was tired of him
In day where Kylian Mbappe shook the world with reports coming that wants to leave Paris Saint Germain, one of his most famous countrymen hasn't exactly been supportive of the French forward. Former France star Emmanuel Petit has spoken about the PSG striker and he wasn't very kind: "He shows a total lack of respect".
Following PSG's 0-0 draw with Reims last weekend, Mbappe criticised coach Christophe Galtier's appoach. The 23-year-old made fun of Galtier's deployment of him by posting an Instagram story with a photo of himself in motion with the hashtag "#pivotgang". According to Petit, that's one too many by the young striker.
"He annoys everyone today. He makes it personal all the time. He even puts himself above the institution. Has everything that has happened in recent months gone to his head?", pointed out the former Arsenal and Barcelona player.
"The club is more important than any one player. Today, Mbappe's statements are irrelevant and show a lack of respect for the institution, but also for his partners. Because by saying that, he is targeting his coach but also certain players", added Petit, who as a World Cup winner with France in 1998. "I find that regrettable", he added.
With the rumours now coming out that Kylian Mbappe is furious with PSG and looking for a move away, most likely to Real Madrid, you have to ponder whether Petit isn't right and the 23 year old is more hassle than he's worth.
