INCREDIBLE: PSG target could join the Premier League after new offer comes
One of the most wanted men from Serie A has a new suitor and they are coming in for him
They say there's always more fish in the sea, but truth is in world football there's plenty of fisherman too. So when the transfer market comes, theres always some club that misses on their big targets. Such could be the case of PSG and Inter Milan centreback Milan Skriniar, who could be now in the sights of Chelsea.
It has been known for a while that the London club is on the search of help at centreback, following the loss of Antonio Rudiger (to Real Madrid) and Andreas Christensen (to Barcelona). With the first of their targets in Sevilla's Jules Koundé now reportedly more interested in joining Barça, and Juventus asking the full 120 million euros release clause for their number two option, Matthjis de Ligt, the Blues seem to have turned to plan C, and that's Inter's Skriniar.
The Slovakian has been in the sights of Paris Saint Germain for a long time now, but so far the Nerazzurri have rejected every offer from the Parisian outfit, looking for more than the 50 million euros they offered last time.
Now, according to UK newspaper The Sun, Chelsea are looking to make that extra step to secure the services of the 27 year old centreback. Their offer, allegedly of 75 million euros, could be enough to convince Inter to let go of Skriniar, and rob PSG of one of their main targets this summer.
Having joined Inter from Sampdoria in 2017 for 34 million euros,
Milan Skriniar has since then has played 215 matches for the Milan outfit. He's know for his excellent reading of the game and skill to bring the ball out from defence and would fit right into Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel's system.
