Napoli reject CRAZY fee for Osimhen from top Premier League club
Gli Azzurri will only entertain ludicrous offers for the Nigerian, and no club has come close yet
The moves of Erling Haaland and Darwin Nuñez have market this summer as the transfer window of the big striker moves, and it seems we're not quite done with top forwards moving clubs. It is well known Arsenal are after a new striker after Alexandre Lacazette moved back to Olympique Lyon, and its looking like Napoli's Victor Osimhen is their next target.
The 23 year old Osimhen has been one of the best strikers in the world last season, scoring 18 goals in 32 matches for Napoli last season. The Gunners needed some help up front before, and now more than ever with Lacazette's move, which had them connected with Manchester City's Gabriel Jesus.
However, it seems now they're going after Osimhen. It won't prove cheap, nevertheless, as according to Naples newspaper Il Mattino the Italian outfit have just rejected a 51 million pounds offer, (close to 60 million euros) for the player, with the rumour going around that they will only entertain bids above the 100 million euros mark.
Victor Osimhen joined Napoli from Lille in 2020, with Gli Azzurri having paid 75 million euros for the Nigerian at the time. Since then, Osimhen has scored 28 goals in 62 matches for Napoli, while also providing 9 assists.
