Could it happen? Neymar linked to LAST MINUTE move to the Premier League
The Brazilian star is said to have been offered to one of the biggest clubs in England hours away from the transfer deadline
Everything seemed to be going well for Paris Saint Germain. The Parisian outfit is thriving under Christophe Galtier, scoring goals a plenty and leading the Ligue 1 comfortably, with their big three up front working in sync for the first time in a long time. However, perhaps something smells rotten in Paris, with the defending champions reported to be making one final attempt to sell one of their biggest stars: Neymar Jr.
Unbelievable as it may sound, that's what UK newspaper Daily Mail is reporting, with sources claiming that the Brazilian has been offered to Chelsea as a potential solution to their attacking woes after their difficulty start to the season.
According to UK media, in the eve of the transfer deadline, PSG are willing to let Neymar depart, and the opportunity to sign the Brazilian superstar has been made available to the Blues. The former Barcelona man is reportedly a favourite of Chelsea owner Todd Boehly, who would be open to forking out the £150 million that the Parisian outfit requires to send Neymar to West London.
It's not the first time the Brazilian is linked with a move to Stamford Bridge, with sources claiming that it was only the refusal of German manager Thomas Tuchel that kept the Santos academy graduate in Paris. Now, however, the situation has changed with Chelsea dropping eight points in their first five matches and losing to supposedly lesser sides like Leeds United and Southampton.
Despite their troubled past at PSG, when Thomas Tuchel branded Neymar Jr. a player "not easy to manage", it could be that the German has no option but swallow his pride and allow the signing of the Brazilian, who has scored eight goals and provided six assists in five matches with PSG so far.
