Neymar Junior is in his best form. Criticized by all of Paris Saint Germain not that long ago, the Brazilian has transformed and should reach the Qatar 2022 World Cup as one of the great stars of the tournament. At least, that's what his countrymen Kaká thinks, as according to  the former AC Milan legend Neymar is better than everyone else today.

"I don't know if it's because we have a great personal relationship, but I love how Neymar plays. Of course I like to see others, like Mbappé, Messi, Cristiano or Vinicius himself, but I'll stay with Ney", Kaká explained in a interview with Spanish newspaper Marca.

Along the same lines, the former AC Milan and Real Madrid man added: "Neymar is going to be the leader of Brazil in Qatar 2022, but it is very important that he has players like Vinicius at his side. In the 2018 World Cup, Ney was the absolute protagonist, but now we have to Vini, to Raphinha, to Richarlison, to Antony, who are not young promises, but realities. Vinicius, for example, is a star in Madrid and has scored the goal in the last Champions League final. This takes some pressure off to Neymar something that is very favorable for our interests".

On the other hand, Kaká left his analysis of the upcoming World Cup and whether it will be possible for a South American to end up winning it: "Both Brazil and Argentina have great chances of winning this World Cup. I really like this Argentina team, they arrive as a matured side and they have a great coach. However, European football is very good. We also have a handicap and that is that with the birth of the UEFA Nations League we can no longer play friendlies against the great teams of the old continent and that makes us less competitive because in South America, Brazil wins almost every match".

"Spain has a very good team with great players, although they are very young. Luis Enrique seems to me to be a very creative coach and I like Gavi a lot. Pedri also has a bright future ahead of him, although I have special affection for Álvaro Morata because I saw him become a professional", declared Kaká, placing Spain as one of the top candidates. Taking into account the club and the Brazilian National Team, Neymar registered 11 goals and 10 assists in 12 games played in the 2022/23 season.
