BRUTAL: Neymar to leave PSG by order of Kylian Mbappé
An Spanish newspaper points out to the Frenchman as the main responsible behind PSG's decision to cut ties with their former star
It would be the worst ending, which some in Brazil consider a public betrayal and in front of everyone. According to Spanish newspaper El País, Paris Saint Germain have informed Neymar that he will not continue in the club and that he will have to leave before the transfer market closes because he will not be part of the squad.
"Kylian Mbappé ordered changes in the organization and called for the dismissal of the now former sports director of the club, Leonardo, one of Neymar's closest allies at the club. Mbappé also highlighted the inconvenience that everyone already knew: his systematic indiscipline in training and recovery from injuries", El País revealed. The reality is that these aren't rumours, because it is known that Mbappé cannot stand Neymar and his lack of commitment during the training week, which is later reflected in the games.
The idea is that Paris Saint Germain will put Neymar on the market, but only on loan as his transfer is impossible to pay, since the Brazilian has a contract until 2027 and would costs around 150 million euros. To speed up his departure, PSG would cover Neymar's €38m salary and would only ask for a loan fee.
After this, Neymar explained to the people he trusts at PSG that he feels humiliated, and that he now hopes to have the opportunity to play for another great club. The Brazilian has been harassed by the local press, the fans and above all the directors, with Al Khelaifi at the helm.
In recent weeks, the PSG president was very tough on Neymar in an interview with Le Parisien: "Neymar? What I can say is that we expect all the players to do much more than they did last season. Much more. Everyone has to be 100%. We have to be humble again. We have to change to avoid injuries, suspensions and fouls that turn a game upside down. We build. We have to be disciplined on and off the field. Whoever wants to stay in his comfort zone, whoever does not want to fight, will stay on the sidelines".
The main candidate to take Neymar is Chelsea, who would seek to take him out on loan to try and recover the Brazilian's best form. Thomas Tuchel, who already coached him at PSG, would have asked the club to make the effort to sign him and make an impact in the Premier League. Manchester United and Newcastle are also monitoring the situation of the PSG star, who, precisely, won't play again for the Parisian club.
