UNBELIEVABLE: PSG willing to let Neymar leave
The Brazilian superstar could be looking for pastures new very shortly after it became known PSG would be open to offers for him
Paris Saint Germain has been all over the news lately, as their monumental offer to Kylian Mbappé, which eventually proved tempting enough the make the French star stay, shocked the world and left many wondering whether it was even withing Financial Fair Play rules.
However, we may be starting to see the effects that going all in on the French wonderkid will have on the Parisian team. According to French newspaper L'Equipe, PSG are now open to bids for Brazilian superstar Neymar.
Despite that, it has been reported that this may have no relation with the super-contract that the club offered to Mbappé, but rather the Frenchman's poor relationship with his teammate. It has also been reported that one of the terms in the Frenchman's contract was giving him a say in the transfer policy, and it's looking like he's not all that interested in sharing the spotlight with the former Santos and Barcelola player.
Neymar, regardless, remains PSG's second-best paid player and has still three years remaining on his contract, meaning he shouldn't be in any rush to walk out. With interest from other European super clubs said to be at a minimum, other options are appearing, like Newcastle United, who where recently taken over by a Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund and could be in a position to make a good enough offer. Whether the Brazilian would have any interest in moving to a club that won't be playing any continental competiton next season will remain to be seen.
Neymar arrived at PSG in 2017, after the French club paid his contract release clause at Barcelona, making him the most expensive player ever. He has played 144 games for PSG and scored 100 goals.
