"Neymar is a real crybaby": He's not a fan of the Brazilian and he destroyed him
The Brazilian is often criticized for some of his attitudes, but his latest criticism is one of the worst he's had
Neymar Jr has recovered his best form on the pitch. After a season in which his level was rock bottom, and in which the fans came to ask for his departure from Paris Saint Germain, the number 10 has once again dazzled on the pitch, standing out with eleven goals and nine assists at the start of the season. Despite this, his controversial figure continues to get thousands of critics in the football ecosystem. The legendary Dutch player, Marco van Basten, was the last to charge against the Brazilian star.
"Neymar is a real crybaby, he is constantly provoking", Van Basten said, later adding: "One second he fouls someone and the next he's a victim again". Van Basten did not stop there: "There is no permission to touch him. I would applaud if someone really confronted him. He is an unpleasant person on the field".
His take on Neymar is added to the one that the Dutchman made months ago about Lionel Messi, who many consider the best player in history, but who for Van Basten does not even enter the podium due to his personality: "Pelé, Diego Maradona and Johan Cruyff are the three best in history. Messi is also a great player, but Maradona always had more personality in a team and Messi is not the one who takes the lead to go to war".
Although today he is away from the fields, Marco van Basten is one of the greatest Dutch football legends. A lethal scorer, he was a multi-champion with Ajax and Milan, he won the Ballon d'Or three times (1988, 1989 and 1992) and became one of the most recognized legends in world football before his career was derailed by injuries. Perhaps that's why some are confused as to why he's so critical of current footballers.
