The Frenchman will stay at the Catalan giants, and the announcement was emotional

Incredibly, after many twists and turns, FC Barcelona announced the signing of Ousmane Dembélé. The Frenchman was released last June 30 and technically did not renew his contract with the Catalan giants, but rather was signed again by the club.

For his part, FC Barcelona president Joan Laporta highlighted: "I admire Dembélé for his quality as a player and as a person. Today is a very important day for Barça. He has always wanted to stay and the truth is that he has made an effort to enter the new salary scale. Dembélé has an incomparable talent, very unique. He brings us a lot. Xavi has loved him from the first moment. This year is very important, we have to win titles. I am convinced that we will achieve it. Today is a very emotional day for me. The coach loves you, but the club does too".
