C'EST LA VIE: Ousmane Dembele to snub PSG and Barça for this club
The French international would be moving to the Premier League for next season
It has been a roller coster. First he broke through at Borussia Dortmund, then he got a move to Barcelona for 140 million euros which made him one of the most expensive players ever.
Injuries and sub-par performances made him public enemy number one at Barça, to the point where the president of the club was telling him publicly to leave, only to then do a 180 and say he was better than Mbappé, and try to get him to stay. The main driver for this is reported to be his relationship with Thomas Tuchel, who coached him when he was at Borussia Dortmund and arguably got him to perform at his best. Under the German manager, Dembele scored 10 goals and provided 22 assists in 50 matches, a production that takes him to 108 minutes per goal involvement, something that dwarves what he could achieve at Barcelona.
