"Things changed": Dybala fires shots at Juve and Inter at Roma presentation
The Argentine was introduced as a Giallorossi player and he wasn't about to forget about the teams that passed on him
Paulo Dybala set of one of the bombshells of the summer market when he signed with AS Roma after having been in the spheres of Inter Milan, Real Madrid and others. Despite interest in his signing cooling down at times, he's still a top capture for the Giallorossi and one that José Mourinho can claim as a win given his influence in the move happening.

Now, Dybala was introduced as a new Roma player, and the Argentine wasn't very kind on those who decided to pass on the oportunity to have him on their team: "I think the director [Maurizio] Arrivabene was very clear in his statements; we had an agreement to sign in October, then the company asked us to wait. After March we received the news that I would not be part of the project in the future. It was not an economic problem, but it was the club that made different decision together with the coach. I told them that if this was their choice it wasn't a problem for me".
Dybala also spoke on the comments made by Inter CEO Giuseppe Marotta, who assured the Nerazzurri didn't need the Argentine in their squad: "When the contract with Juventus expired we talked with many teams. The journalists talked about some teams in particular, I have a very nice relationship with Marotta. Many teams were interested, but at a certain point the director arrived in Turin and things changed".
With these comments in mind, Dybala was also very keen on expressing his pleasure when Roma put the focus on signing him: "It was a huge pleasure [to receive Mourinho's call], the first time I spoke to the manager. I think everyone who called, the show of affection for wanting me to be here today, was very important to me".

"The first question [I made] to Mourinho, was what could we win. I like to win, but there are some points of reference that we have already seen last year. There is the awareness of the coach and the confidence of the boys, while we get to know each other in training. They are very important to get to the goal. I will try to give my all to keep winning", said Paulo Dybala on his objetives upon joining the Giallorossi, although he was also cautions: "It's too soon to speak about the Scudetto".
