Paulo Dybala close to AMAZING move to join one of the BEST managers ever
The Argentine may have dropped out of Inter's list of targets, but someone else is intersted in him
With the news of so many big names on official or potential moves, sometimes it's hard to keep track of everyone. With the likes of Romelu Lukaku, Paul Pogba, Frenkie de Jong or even Cristiano Ronaldo constantly on the news, one name that has slipped through the cracks is that of Paulo Dybala.
The Argentine looked set for Inter Milan, but since then that move has stalled, and there seem to be no news out there. Even the Nerazzurri seem to have lost interest in someone who looked set to be the protagonist of one of the summer's blockbusters. As Inter legend and director Javier Zanetti recently put it, "Dybala? As Marotta said it is always an opportunity because he is a free player, but we have Lautaro, Lukaku, Correa, Dzeko, Sanchez. This doesn't mean that things can't change, but we're fine now".
In this context, other, less stellar, options have appeared for the former Juventus man, namely those of Napoli and AS Roma; of the two, it could be that Jose Mourinho's club are closer to the signature. Despite the lack of Champions League football, an assurance over his role by the Portuguese manager has gotten the interest of the Argentine, according to Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
The Giallorossi seem to have another advantage over their southern rivals: the question of the image rights. This is a matter of big importance for the Argentine, but the owner of Napoli, Aurelio De Laurentiis, insists on controlling their players rights. This would not be a problem with Roma, who would allow Dybala to keep his image rights.
Paulo Dybala scored 15 goals and assisted 6 for Juventus during last season, on the 39 matches that he appeared for La Vecchia Signora across all competitions.
