The manager has become one of the most important figures at any football club. At one point merely an administrator of the club, now the manager or head coach is one of the key figures and fans will argue to exhaustion who is a better tactician or teacher of the game. This, of course, meant that the very top men for the job are extremely valuable individuals, but you may not know just how much names like Pep Guardiola or Antonio Conte are worth.

With Graham Potter recently joining Chelsea to be their key man, it became known he'll be the fourth best paid head coach in England, with an annual salary of £12 million, but who complete the list and who are the top three?

The top ten best paid managers in England start with David Moyes, who's paid £5 million by West Ham. Following him, Everton's Frank Lampard is on £6 million, while Ralph Hassenhuttl from Southampton comes next on £7 million. From there, it's the first Big Six manager as Mikel Arteta gets £8.3 million from Arsenal, while Erik ten Hag signed for £9 million with Manchester United. Entering the top five, Leicester City's Brendan Rodgers is right behind Potter on £10 million, and numbers start to get crazy big from there.

On third place, is Tottenham Hotspur's Antonio Conte. Arriving at the North London club after lifting his fourth Serie A title victory, and the first with Inter, the former Juventus and Italy manager is on a £15 million deal until 2023.

Coming in at second, we have Liverpool's Jurgen Klopp. Currently the longest serving manager in the Premier League, the German has been with the Anfield side since 2015. His latest deal sees him take home £16 million.

Last but certainly not least, the man many consider to be the best manager in the world right now, Manchester City's Pep Guardiola is reported to be making £19 million as per his latest deal. Incredibly, however, this does not make him the best paid manager in the world, with Atletico Madrid's Diego Simeone taking an incredible 39.5 million euros (£34 million) per season.
