UNBELIEVABLE: Chelsea targeting one of PSG's TOP defenders
The Blues are on a buying spree and they have selected their next big target
Thomas Tuchel must've been pushing some buttons with the higher ups at Stamford Bridge, cause it's been Chelsea all over and news keep on coming. With Raheem Sterling confirmed and Kalidou Koulibaly set to sign very soon, the club is looking for more reinforcements, and this time they're eyeing one of Paris Saint Germain's top talents: Presnel Kimpembe.
The French centreback, who came through the PSG academy, is currently 26 years old, and a near locked up starter for the France National Team. According to reports by The Athletic's David Ornstein, Chelsea are opening talks with the higher ups at the French club to make a deal.
As reported, PSG are open to sell if their valuation of Kimpembe is met, and are also holding talks with Italian giants Juventus for the player. Some sources are claiming the fee required would be 50 million euros, while according to French newspaper L'Equipe it's closer to 60 millions.
The PSG academy graduate played 41 matches for the lcub under Mauricio Pochettino last season, but reports had pointed at him as the potential scapegoat in Christophe Galtier's back three, with Sergio Ramos and Marquinhos starting next to PSG target Milan Skriniar.
Presnel Kimpembe is known for his ability to bring the ball forwards from behind, although at 1,83m some think he might be a tad too short to become an effective Premier League central defender.
