Paris Saint-Germain is reportedly interested in adding another star to their brilliant lineup including Kylian Mbappe, Neymar, and Lionel Messi. Their new target?    Manchester United's Marcus Rashford

The 24-year-old England international has had a terrible time at Manchester United recently. He has so far failed to deliver on most of the promise he showed when he first burst into the Red Devils' first team, and a fresh start could help him resurrect his career in time for the World Cup. He just has one year left on his contract, which expires in June 2023, however it does have a year-long extension clause.

PSG are looking for an attacker who can play both the centre and the wings, something newly appointed manager Christophe Galtier acknowledged during a press conference: "We want another striker to come in. With a busy schedule, we want arrivals. The club is working, I am in direct contact with [football advisor] Luis Campos. Luis is in direct contact with our president [Nasser Al-Khelaifi]. We must not make any mistakes. Will this player arrive? We don't know. It has to be a real plus."

Now, it's looking like Rashford could be that player. The England striker has been on the decline recently. Rashford scored 22 goals throughout all competitions in the 2019-20 season, and he added another 21 goals the next year. However, he had a difficult season last time around, in which he managed only five goals and was dropped from Gareth Southgate's England squad.

With the World Cup on the horizon, it will take something very special for Marcus Rashford to recover that spot, but a move to a dominant side like PSG and a more open league like Ligue 1 could do the trick, although so far there's no solid information on the fees that would be required for the move.
