PSG doesn't GIVE UP: They're back on for a TOP TARGET

The Parisian club has been keeping a low profile recently, but not for long as they charge once again for a long time target

Paris Saint Germain aren't a club that's used to having a no for an answer. Lately, the Parisian outfit has been away from the news, as they've been completing low-profile signings without long, drawn-out negotiations, all part of their new "no-glitz-and-glamour" approach. However, top clubs still need top players, and PSG know this, that's why they're back on the charge for Milan Skriniar.

The 27 year old Slovenian centreback was heavily linked with a move to the French club earlier in the window, but all negotiations proved fruitless, with PSG refusing to reach Inter Milan's 70 million euros valuation. However, things could be turning now.

According to transfer specialist website Foot Mercato, the higher ups at PSG remain optimistic on striking a deal for the Nerazzurri defender, despite negotiations having made very few advances since the early days of July when the story first broke out.

The reason for this is that Inter is currently looking for a new centreback, with most sources in Italy pointing towards Borussia Dortmund's Manuel Akanji. With Nerazzurri owner Steven Zhang making it clear that the club will have to cut down on expenses, the move could be seen as shift towards a cheaper option to cash in on Skriniar
