"I can confirm he will not leave": PSG dealt BIG BLOW in the transfer market
The Parisian outfit got the final confirmation that one of their targets is going nowhere
Despite their many tries, despite Christophe Galtier's words, and despite the economic needs from the other part, Paris Saint Germain will wrap up this transfer market without one of their main targets: Inter Milan's Slovak centreback Milan Skriniar.
The 27 year old player from the Nerazzurri has been one of the Parisian outfit's target for the longest of times, with reports linking him to a move to PSG popping up since the beginning of the summer.
However, a difference valuation has always been the main problem in the negotiations for Skrianiar, and that has been one that PSG has been unable to solve. Such has been confirmed by Inter Milan CEO Giuseppe Marotta, who recently put the final nail to the French side's ambitions.
"Milan Škriniar will not leave, he will stay with us for sure. Owners have decided not to be tempted by Paris Saint-Germain bid and approaches", explained Marotta before adding, "I can confirm that he's key player for us and he'll stay".
It's a big blow for PSG, who was looking to add Milan Skriniar not just out of appreciation for his skill, but also out of need to reinforce their central defence. It remains to be seen whether the Parisian side will move on to another objetive, with centrebacks at a premium in this market like Chelsea has found out.
