Robert Lewandowski: "My story with Bayern is over"
The Polish striker announced his final decision, and now the club will have to decided whether to opposed the deal or not
He was that blunt. Polish striker Robert Lewandowski saved no punches as he announced his decision to leave German giants Bayern Munich this transfer window. While it has been know for a while that the idea was floating in his head, the former BVB man made it 100% real today as he confirmed he will be doing everything in his power to leave the Bavarian club.

"After the last few months, I believe that a transfer will be the best solution", said Lewandowski, who had previously expressed concerns regarding the way in which Bayern had been working. Now, the cards are on the table and the club executives will have to decide whether to work with him to make the move a quick and successful experience, or work against him to make a long and dragged war.
The Polish star certainly hopes it will be the first, as reported by journalist Fabrizio Romano: "I hope Bayern won't stop me just because I've a contract until June 2023". Regardless of what happens, Lewandowski is hopeful there will be news soon, saying he might "give [the press] informations after international matches".

Barcelona have already reached a verbal agreement with Lewandowski on a three-year deal, waiting for FC Bayern.
With Lewandowski having apparently everything set for a move to Barcelona, it seems like it's now all in the hands of Bayern executives, although it could be harder than the Pole expects.
