"You will be missed by all of us": Salah's EMOTIONAL farewell to Mané
The African stars have been teammates since 2017, but an era has ended
One of the footballing world's best and most famous duos has been broken, with Sadio Mané's departure to Bayern Munich, and his teammate and friend Mohammed Salah didn't forget to give a warm send off the man with whom he shared one of the most fierce striking partnerships in history.

It hasn't always been smooth sailing between the two men, as they have often clashed, not on club football but with their respective National Teams, and most famously in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, where Mané's Senegal won their first title, beating Salah's Egypt with the former Southampton man scoring the decisive penalty. Destiny would have them meet just a month later during the CAF Third Round to decide which country would go to the World Cup in Qatar, with Senegal once again victorious and Mané scoring the definitive kick once more.
However, Salah, who himself could be leaving Liverpool in the not so distant future should he fail to renovate his contract with the Anfield club before June 2023, didn't allow this to ruin his memories with Mané and shared some of them on his Instagram account. "It's been quite a ride! Thank you for all the good times and I wish you all the best in your new adventure! You will be missed by all of us", wrote the Egyptian.
For his part, the new Bayern Munich player replied with is admiration towards Salah, saying: "Keep doing your things! Brother you are the best".
Mohammed Salah and Sadio Mané had been teammates since 2017, when the Egytpian joined Liverpool, a season after Mané did the same. Between them, they've scored 276 goals and given 111 assists for the Reds, won the UEFA Champions League and broke a 30 year wait to lift the Premier League.
