BOMBSHELL: Sadio Mané could depart from Liverpool
The Liverpool forward could be on the move after the Champions League final
The European season is not even over and yet the transfer market has already provided some fascinating news. The Mbappé saga, Lewandowski's fight to leave Bayern, Haaland's move to Manchester City, it's been non-stop news. Now, it seems there could be another huge move on the horizon, and it involves Liverpool's Sadio Mané.
French newspaper L'Équipe reported today that the Liverpool's forward could be closing in on a move to German giants Bayern Munich. According to the French newspaper, Bayern sporting director Hasan Salihamidži met Mané's agent in Mallorca and personal terms have been agreed. The transfer fee is yet to be agreed upon with the Reds, although L'Équipe suggests it could be somewhere around the 30 million euros. The decision would be taken after the UEFA Champions League final, as Mané remains focused on lifting his second European title with Liverpool.
Apparently, Mané is now Bayern's top priority, following the rumours of Polish striker Robert Lewandowski and forward Serge Gnabry. Mané has scored 120 goals and given 48 assists in 268 games since joining Liverpool in 2016 from Southampton. He was part of the historic side that broke Liverpool's 30 years without an English league title in 2020, and will undoubtedly be missed at Anfield.
