Top 5: Premier League signings that will explode this season
Five players will probably reach their peak this year in England
The 22/23 summer transfer market gave us awesome daily news, from free transfers that were previously arranged to last-minute bargains that surprised everyone, and the Premier League was not the exception. Here we have five signings that will have an impact on their teams and surprise everyone:
Top 1: Lisandro Martínez. The Argentinian arrived for a 57M fee from Ajax, and only a month later, he managed to win former captain Harry Maguire the left center-back place, form an awesome duo with Varane and get august ManUtd player of the month. This start with his capacity, potential and young age of 24 makes everyone expective of what else the player can reach in Manchester.
Top 2: Julián Álvarez. Another Argentinian came from River Plate but to the blue side of Manchester. He was able to show what he can do scoring six goals in one Copa Libertadores match and five in another league game. Guardiola flatters him every time he can and trusts "The Spider" to be Halaand's first replacement. His ball control and the smell of goal and individual quality make Julián have this top two.
Álvarez may be one of this season surprises
Top 3: Lucas Paquetá. Arrived at West Ham two days before the market ended. The 24-year-old is a classy player, with great ball control, dribbling, and a real left-footed class. The elegance he shows while having the ball and his versatility and adaptability helps Lucas to develop in every part of the central midfield, and surely will have a quick adaptation to England.
Top 4: Arthur Melo. Once again, a midfielder from Brazil, but, this one to Liverpool from Juve. Awesome pass, classy right foot, and rhythm are the things that the 26-year-old can give. He has a similar play style to Thiago and Klopp is confident about helping Arthur reach his peak in Europe, something he couldn't achieve at Barcelona or Juventus.
Top 5: Joao Palhinha. Arrived at Fulham for a 20M fee from Sporting CP. The Portuguese midfielder has enough energy to run the 90 minutes and defend like there is no tomorrow, something really useful for a recently promoted team. Also, he gives the team a clean move from defense to attack as Joao got an awesome short and long pass.
