AN ABSOLUTE FORTUNE: Tottenham offers 80 million euros for Lautaro Martínez
Inter seemed able to fend off any interest for their key man, but it seems that could change in the coming days, as Tottenham are reported to be preparing a huge offer for the Argentine
Lautaro Martínez remains one of the best strikers in European football. The performances of the Inter Milan forward showed no signs of him missing Romelu Lukaku's work on the pitch, as the Belgian left the previous transfer window; the Argentine became the leader of Inzaghi's attack with 25 goals and 4 assists in 48 games.

The Argentine arrived at Inter in 2018 for a fee close to 25 million euros. Since then, Martínez has earned a place in the starting eleven and ended up winning the Scudetto last season. Throughout the years, the former Racing Club man has been linked to Atlético Madrid, FC Barcelona and Real Madrid, but Inter seemed able to fend off any interest... until now, it seems.
As revealed by the British newspaper Daily Mirror, Tottenham will allegedly go all out again for Martinez. The club would be open to pay 82 million euros for the transfer of the Argentine striker. Spurs manager Antonio Conte worked with Martinez at Inter Milan when he won the Italian league and would be keen on being reunited with his former man.

Tottenham had already made inquiries during the previous transfer market and the Argentine forward was blunt: "People talk a lot and I don't like it. I always give my best and I don't like certain voices. I try to give it my all. Obviously I don't like coming on as a substitute , but when I do it I try to give everything for the team. I am focused on my work and I don't listen to everything that is said. I was always calm, working for the team".
Lautaro Martínez and Antonio Conte butted heads on more than one occasion at Inter Milan, although the Italian manager always valued the Argentine. Now, Tottenham want to team him up with Harry Kane, in what could become the most fearsome attacking duo in English football.
